Race fans will be on the edge of their seat today during a full day of racing action at the historic Watkins Glen International road course. Running, rain or shine, on the traditional long course, drivers and crew chiefs will face the added challenge of scattered rain showers. The unpredictable weather not only makes the racing conditions more demanding, but adds an extra element of uncertainty to the teams' pit strategies. Wade Cunningham led all drivers in the morning warm-up for the IRL Indy Pro Series Corning 100, which kicks off today's action with a 12:30 green flag. Racing history will be honored as Formula 1 cars of the '70's and '80's relive the glory days in the Zippo Historic Grand Prix. Helio Castroneves will lead the field at 3:45pm in the day's crown jewel, the 2nd Annual Watkins Glen Indy Grand Prix, Presented by Tissot.
Come join the excitement. Ticket windows are open for the remaining available seats.
