The "Racing, Only Twisted Tour" has hit the streets to promote NASCAR racing at Watkins Glen International (WGI) this August 10-13. Be part of the racing action this summer when the "Racing, Only Twisted Tour" stops by your neighborhood or blog your way to the Tour all summer long by using the newly launched interactive weblog at http://racingonlytwistedtour.blogspot.com.
The traveling exhibit dubbed, the "Racing Only, Twisted Tour" is being run this summer by two WGI interns, Ben Howe and Abram Miller. These lucky webloggers have already started touring Upstate New York and Pennsylvania with the Tour's interactive racing elements including; the #39 Penske Truck Leasing NASCAR Busch Series show car, two racing simulators, WGI race information and promotional ticket giveaways.
Fans can chat with the Howe and Miller before and after each tour stop to check out the latest news, images, links and comments from each location. The blog was launched last week and is linked to the official website of Watkins Glen International at TheGlen.com.
The Tour has already made several stops throughout the region including the Monroe County Fair exhibit with NYS Senators Jim Alesi and Joe Robach. They have also made their way through Bradford, Pennsylvania for the annual Zippo Motorsports Day. Next stops include; the Zippo swap-meet, the Seneca Park Zoo and a ballgame with the Binghamton Mets.
