Jon Fogarty Will Chat With Fans on WGI Fan Forum
Fogarty is the 2nd Driver Featured in the Weekly Grand-Am Live Chat
Watkins Glen International will host its second LIVE Grand-Am driver chat on the WGI Fan Talk Forum on Wednesday, May 16th. Veteran driver Jon Fogarty will be the featured guest this week and will be available to fans 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Last week's chat with Max Papis was a huge success and ran until 8:10 PM so fans are encouraged to join the discussion anytime during the scheduled time.

This is the second 30-minute live chat of a series that will be held every Wednesday at 7:30 PM leading up to the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, June 8-10. Every live chat will feature a different driver from the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series and fans can expect an announcement leading up to the weekly chat.
Jon Fogarty is competing in his third season on the Grand-Am Rolex Series. In 2006, he teamed with Alex Gurney and raced twice at The Glen; taking second in the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen and 13th in the Grand-Am Roles Sports Car Series race during the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series at The Glen weekend. Fogarty made his Rolex Series debut in 2005, finishing 13th in the GT class in the Rolex 24. Before coming to Grand-Am, he excelled in the Toyota Atlantic Championship Series taking the season championship in 2002and 2004. Fogarty is currently the co-driver of the No. 99 GAINSCO/Bob Stalling Racing Pontiac Riley with Alex Gurney. They have qualified 2nd or better in all four races so far this season, claimed their first victory of 2007 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez in Mexico City and share 6th place in the 2007 season standings. Fans can expect to see both drivers in the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, June 8-10, and during the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race during the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series at The Glen weekend, August 9-12.
