Braun is the 2nd Driver Featured in the Current Series of Live Chats Watkins Glen International will host its next LIVE driver chat on the WGI Fan Talk Forum on Wednesday, July 25th and will welcome one of the top young drivers in racing today. Current Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series driver and future Roush Fenway Racing driver Colin Braun will be the next featured guest and will be available for fans questions from 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM. He follows up a very successful chat with fan favorite Boris Said. This is the second of four 30-minute live chats that will feature drivers from the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup, NASCAR Busch and Grand-Am Roles Sports Car Series leading up to the Centurion Boats at The Glen weekend, August 9-12. The remaining two chats will feature NASCAR Busch Series driver Marcos Ambrose on August 1st and a soon to be announced NASCAR NEXTEL Cup or NASCAR Busch Series driver on August 8th. All of these live chats are open to any and all race fans that go to the WGI Fan Talk Forum or the WGI homepage (www.TheGlen.com). A link to the live chat will become available to all visitors at about 7:20 PM and will be active for the entire chat. Colin Braun might only be 18 years of age but he is already recognized as one of the top young drivers in racing. 2006 marked his first full season of racing a Daytona Prototype in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series and he proved his abilities early and often. He helped co-driver Jorg Bergmeister clinch the Daytona Prototype championship, won back-to-back races at Daytona and Barber and clinched his first-career pole. Braun finished fifth in the final point standings despite missing three races during the season. Earlier this season, Braun made headlines prior to the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen by signing a developmental driver deal with Roush Fenway Racing. He will be entered in select ARCA races in 2007, and will compete for Rookie-of-the-Year honors as well s the ARCA RE/MAX Series championship in 2008. With his talent, it would not be surprising to see Braun in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup or NASCAR Busch Series within the next few years. He currently co-drives the #76 Krohn Racing Ford Riley with Max Papis. The talented duo will compete at The Glen for the second this season in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race on Friday, August 10. One of New York State's largest weekend spectator sporting event returns August 9-12 with the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series taking center stage on Sunday in the much-anticipated Centurion Boats at The Glen. The NASCAR Busch Series is back for a third straight year to compete in the Zippo 200 on Saturday and the stars of the Rolex Sports Car Series take to the track on Friday night. Weekend tickets start at only $80 and are still available. A complete weekend schedule can be found on www.TheGlen.com.
