Watkins Glen International will join a wide variety of exhibiters and family entertainment at the Monroe County Fair being held at the Monroe County Fair and Expo Center in Rochester, NY, July 9-13. The historic road course will feature its NASCAR Nationwide Series show car as well as its children friendly racing modules. They will be selling tickets at the display for the next two big events on the 2008 schedule, the Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey's Fancy New York's Artisan Cheese, July 18-20 and the Centurion Boats at The Glen, August 7-10, both of which are only a weeks away.
Fans that visit the WGI display will have several ways to feed their need for racing. First, they can get up-close and personal with the #33 Camping World show car driven by Kevin Harvick in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Second, they can hop into one of two racing simulators and challenge the twists and turns of The Glen just like their favorite NASCAR driver. Third, they can pick-up the most up-to-date information about The Glen and purchase tickets to remaining events during the already thrilling 2008 season. Still not enough of The Glen?, then walk over to the adjacent Toyota display to check out the custom Toyota Tundra and Toyota Camry pace vehicles that are used during race weekends at The Soul of American Road Racing. Both booths will be open to fans 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM on Wednesday, July 9, 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM on Thursday, July 10, 12:00 PM - 11:00 PM on Saturday, July 11 and 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM on Sunday, July 13.
