Catch The Glen at Atlantic City Motorsports Show
By: WGI Staff on 1/14/2009
Watkins Glen International will join a wide variety of automotive exhibiters at the 24th Annual Motorsports Racing Car Show being held at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ, January 16-17, 2009. The historic road course will feature its NASCAR Nationwide Series show car as well as one from the IndyCar® Series at its display. Tickets for the entire 2009 season at The Glen will be available for purchase at the booth.
Fans that visit the WGI display will have several ways to feed their need for racing. First, they can get up-close and personal with the #33 Camping World show car driven by Kevin Harvick during the 2008 Zippo 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race and also one from the IndyCar Series. Second, they can hop into one of two racing simulators and challenge the twists and turns of The Glen just like their favorite NASCAR driver. Third, they can pick-up the most up-to-date information about The Glen and speak to several WGI staff members about the upcoming season. Fans will be able to find the booth just inside the main entrance. The price of adult admission at the show is $15 for a one-day pass, $5 for children ages 6-12, and free for children ages 5 and under.
Tickets for the racing action at Watkins Glen International are on-sale now and can be purchased at the Atlantic City Motorsports Show all weekend. This year the season kicks-off with the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car, KONI Challenge, and NASCAR Camping World East Series during the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen weekend, June 5-7. Open-wheel racing returns for the 4th of July holiday during the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen, July 3-5, and the NASCAR Sprint Cup and NASCAR Nationwide Series return to The Glen on their traditional weekend, August 6-9.
