Officials at Watkins Glen International are proud to announce a new marketing partnership with the New York Lottery. The agreement reunites North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery with one of the world’s most revered road racing venues in time for its biggest event of the 2009 racing season, the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen event weekend.
“We are excited to have the NY Lottery back as a partner this year,” stated Michael Printup, president of Watkins Glen International. “We are thrilled to welcome them back as a motor sports marketing partner. We look forward to all the excitement and that little bit of extra luck they might bring to the track, our drivers and fans who will visit The Glen this summer.”
“The New York Lottery has been thrilling New Yorkers with its games and promotions for more than 40 years,” said New York Lottery Director Gordon Medenica. “We are very excited to bring our special brand of entertainment to Watkins Glen and the quarter million racing fans who come to the Finger Lakes every summer to experience The Glen firsthand.”
As a part of the agreement, the New York Lottery will have signage strategically placed around the track to maximize their exposure at prestigious events like the Heluva Good!
