WGI and Continental Tire Agree to Partnership that Runs Through 2014
Renewned Tire Company Named Title Sponsor of GRAND-AM Continental Sports Car Challenge Race at The Glen

Team Sahlen will hit the twists and turns of WGI in the newly named Continental Tires 150 on Saturday, June 5.
“We are pleased to welcome Continental Tire as a new sponsor to both the GRAND-AM Series and at Watkins Glen International,” stated Michael Printup, president of Watkins Glen International. “We both have a rich history and benefit from worldwide recognition. This new partnership will help showcase the incredible sports car racing that happens at WGI, and Continental Tire’s incredible line of consumer products.”

The Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen event weekend will be full of nonstop action and is a must see for every sports car fan. The highlight will be the 29th Running of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series race on Saturday, June 5 but that is only part of the fun. Earlier that same day fans will get their day started with 150 miles during the Continental Tire 150, GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. The Ford Racing Mustang Challenge only adds to the sports car weekend with more series expected to be announced. Tickets start at only $30 and kids 15 and under are FREE!
Tickets for the entire 2010 season including the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen, August 5-8, and Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen, July 2-4, weekends are on sale now! Tickets, gift certificates and track merchandise can all be purchased at The Shop located at 2 North Franklin Street in downtown Watkins Glen. The Shop is open Monday-Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-4, and is closed Sunday.
