By: WGI Staff on 5/14/2010
Kids 15 and Under are FREE in 2010 for several events at WGI including the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, June 4-6.
Fans that are looking for a more affordable option to entertain their family with exciting racing action need to look no further than the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen event weekend, June 4-6. Weekend and Sunday-only tickets for kids 15 and under are FREE! That’s right - FREE! This deal makes it even more affordable for families to attend the sports car event as weekend adult tickets are only $35.
All tickets to the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen provide access to every viewing area around the historic road course such as the five grandstands, including the Pit Terrace and Frontstretch Grandstands, tailgate zones, and general admission viewing areas. The paddock and garage areas will also be open for any ticket holder to access so they can get up-close and personal with the cars of the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, and Ford Racing Mustang Challenge. Fans are also welcome to park on the infield free of charge making it easy to catch the racing excitement throughout the facility.
Looking for more affordable family fun during the rest of the 2010 season at legendary Watkins Glen International? General admission tickets to the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen, July 2-4, for kids 15 and under are FREE with the purchase of an adult ticket. A GA ticket will get fans into the Ninety, Red, White and Blue, Turn 10 and the smoke and alcohol-free McDonald’s Family Zone Grandstands as well as the Tailgate zones and all GA viewing areas surrounding the 3.4 mile road-course. The only areas that GA tickets do not provide access to during the IZOD IndyCar Series event are the Pit Terrace Grandstand during the entire weekend and the FrontStretch Grandstand on Sunday, July 4. Fans looking to park inside the track during the Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen weekend can now do so by purchasing an infield parking pass for only $25! This is the first year this parking pass has been offered and quantities are limited.
The kids 15 and under deal also includes the Legends of Motorsports, June 11-13; SCCA Glen Double Nationals, July 9-11; Art of Ferrari Challenge, September 3-5; and the U.S. Vintage Grand Prix, September 10-12. Just like the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen weekend, there is no reserved grandstand tickets during these weekends – so families that take advantage of this offer will basically have an all-access pass throughout the historic 3.4 mile road course.
Tickets for the entire 2010 season including the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen, August 5-8, and Camping World Grand Prix at The Glen, July 2-4, weekends are on sale now!
