Bobby Rahal (pictured in his fire suit during the 2004 Zippo U.S. Vintage Grand Prix) will not only be in attendance but is scheduled to compete in at least 3 races during the event weekend.
Friday, June 11

Cars on track for practice and qualifying
Fan Zone open : Film tent showing classic racing movies, live music, Kids’ Zone, numerous vendor displays
Paddock Ambassadors available at International Motor Racing Research Center Tent (near media center) for assistance, to answer questions and give complementary paddock tours.
o Noon – 2 p.m.
WCMF’s Brian Robinson broadcasting live
o 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
“Remember the Summer Jam 1973” Party : Grateful Dead tribute band The Lost Sailors plays live in the Fan Zone. Meet WCMF’s Brian Robinson, win a lap of Watkins Glen with Bobby Rahal and enjoy food and drinks at 1970’s prices. Free to all Friday ticketholders or $15 at the gate beginning at 5 p.m.
Saturday, June 12

Fan Zone open : Wine tasting hosted by Hazlitt Vineyards, film tent showing classic racing movies, live music, Kids’ Zone with inflatables, face painting and temporary tattoos

Saturday Night Disco Fever Party : Come prepared to dance the night away in your best 70’s attire. The best dressed male and female will each win a trip to Orlando. Tickets are $20 and benefit the International Motor Racing Research Center in Watkins Glen. Party-only ticket will be available at the gate starting at 5 p.m.
Sunday, June 13
o 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Cars on track for morning warm-ups. Feature races begin at 10:45 a.m.

Fan Forum with Grand Marshal Vic Elford in Victory Circle : One of the greatest drivers of our time, Vic Elford has claimed victory at some of the world’s most difficult races, include the Targa Florio (Italy) and Rally Monte Carlo (Monaco). Elford is also a 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Daytona winner and was featured in the classic racing film The Speed Merchants.
