The Corning West Marching Band, TOMRA, and Swarthout have teamed up with WGI to combine recylcing efforts during the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen weekend, August 5-8.
TOMRA is a leading global provider of advanced solutions enabling recovery and recycling of materials. The international resource recycling company works out of Connecticut and is working with WGI to assist with the legendary road course’s recycling efforts during the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen event weekend.
The members of the Corning West Marching Band will return to add their energy the recycling process. The Band will be working at three separate kiosk locations: Gate 1 from 10:00am – 3:00pm, Section D from 10:00am – 3:00pm, and Section H from 10:00am -6:00pm. The kiosks will give fans a place to bring sorted recyclables and get prizes for their efforts in recycling. The Band is looking to raise enough money to participate in the 25th annual New Years Day Parade in London, England. The official recycling company of WGI, Swarthout, will once again be working diligently to promote the track’s Go Green efforts to reduce the event’s foot print on the environment. Swarthout will have their five cent redemption center running from 10am to 8pm Thursday through Sunday.
