Elliott Forbes-Robinson Available to Fans During Glenora Wine Cellars U.S. Vintage Grand Prix Presented by Welliver McGuire
Legendary Driver will Take Part in Autograph Sessions, Fan Forums, and Downtown Festival

Fans will have the chance to ask Elliott Forbes-Robinson about his racing experiences such a when he drove his Nissan GTP ZX-T at WGI in 1987.
Elliott Forbes-Robinson, the featured guest during the Glenora Wine Cellars U.S. Vintage Grand Prix presented by Welliver McGuire, September 10-12, is scheduled to make several appearances throughout the weekend, including autograph sessions and fan forums. The weekend will serve as a tribute to him and his racing career and as a celebration of the featured marque, Alfa Romeo.
All four of Forbes-Robinson’s autograph sessions will be held at The Pyramid Souvenir Center in the infield of the track throughout the weekend and will give fans the chance to have their racing collectables and merchandise signed by the legendary driver. He will sign autographs on Saturday, September 11, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am and again from 2:40 pm – 3:30 pm and on Sunday, September 12, from 9:45 am – 10:45 am and again from 3:25 pm – 4:00 pm.
In addition to the autograph sessions, Forbes-Robinson will make stops at both the Crown Royal Club at The Glen and the north end of the Garage during the weekend. The Crown Royal Club at The Glen requires separate admission, while the Fan Forums in the Garage are included with any type of admission. Guests joining the Crown Royal Club at The Glen on Saturday, September 11, will be treated to a special Q&A opportunity with the legendary driver from 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm. While any fan with a weekend admission ticket can participate in Saturday’s fan forum in the north end of the Garage from 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm. Then on Sunday, September 12, at 11:25 am, Forbes-Robinson will participate in another 30-minute session in the Crown Royal Club at The Glen followed by a second Fan Forum in the Garage from 12:40 pm – 1:10 pm.
His first speaking appearance will be downtown Watkins Glen on Friday, September 10, at the Grand Prix Festival during the “Legends Speak” ceremonies held in Lafayette Park at 3:00 pm. Later that day, around 5:30 pm, Forbes-Robinson will be inducted into the “Walk of Fame” during opening ceremonies and then give the most famous words in motor sports, “drivers start your engines,” before the tribute laps on the village streets, during the 62nd anniversary of racing in Watkins Glen.
Don’t miss the Chemung Canal Trust Co. Antique Auto Show on Saturday, where fans can display their antique cars in friendly competition and take a parade lap around the historic track on Saturday afternoon.
Tickets for the auto show are $70 and include one three-day general admission ticket, vehicle entry into the show, a parade lap, and a special gift. Participating cars must be at least 25 years old and the show is limited to the first 400 entries.
Tickets for the 2010 season finale at Watkins Glen International, the Glenora Wine Cellars U.S. Vintage Grand Prix presented by Welliver McGuire, September 10-12, are on sale now. The event continues to be one of the largest vintage events in the United States and will feature Alfa Romeo as the featured marque with Elliott Forbes-Robinson as the special guest and grand marshal. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Watkins Glen International ticket office at 866-461-RACE (7223) or logging on to the official website, www.TheGlen.com. Tickets, gift certificates and track merchandise can all be purchased at The Shop located at 2 North Franklin Street in downtown Watkins Glen. The Shop is open Monday-Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 9-4.
