Travel Channel “Man Vs. Food Nation” host Adam Richman Takes on Grand Marshal Role at Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen on August 14
NASCAR fans will have the opportunity to join the “Nation” and take on food challenges onsite throughout the day
Watkins Glen, NY – Watkins Glen International is thrilled to announce that Travel Channel’s “Man vs. Food Nation” Adam Richman will serve as Grand Marshal of the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen on Sunday, August 14, 2011 (1 p.m. EST on ESPN). Serving as the race’s Grand Marshal, Richman will give the iconic command, “Gentlemen, start your engines” prior to the 1:00 PM EST green flag.
“As a guy who's always loved cars (American cars in particular) and the spectacle of sport there really is nothing quite like a NASCAR race,” says Richman. “The opportunity to be part of this event and utter those immortal words is not only a dream come true but an opportunity to connect with great people from all across MvF Nation and share the awe, sheer power and skill of a live NASCAR event.”
“Man vs. Food Nation” airs on Wednesdays at 9:00 PM on the Travel Channel; and is the evolution of Richman’s original series “Man vs. Food”. After three years of sampling delicious food across America, Adam's heard the rallying call from the show’s “Nation” of fans...they want in on the action. NASCAR fans will have the opportunity to join the “Nation” and take on food challenges onsite throughout the day.
