Carl Edwards, Mark Martin and Brett Bodine Highlight Q&A Line-Up in Bog Hospitality

WATKINS GLEN, NY – THE BOG Fan Hospitality presented by Red Cat will once again offer fans the chance to speak with some of the top drivers in NASCAR as well some very special guests on Saturday and Sunday during the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen weekend, August 11-14. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars Carl Edwards and Mark Martin headline a list that includes Chemung, NY native Brett Bodine and former world heavyweight boxing champion Michael Moorer. Tickets for the popular trackside hospitality area are currently on sale but are going fast and are only available for purchase until the end of the day on Friday, August 12.
The fun gets rolling on Saturday, August 13, with a great line-up of Q&A sessions. Justin Allgaier, driver of the No. 31 Florida Gulf Safe Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will kick things off at 9:00 a.m. Martin will make his stop at 10:00 a.m. before passing the microphone off to Bodine at 10:15 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., fans will get their chance to ask Moorer about his incredible boxing career that included becoming a three-time heavyweight champion and defeating Evander Holyfield for the IBF and WBA title belts by majority decision in 1994. Steve O’Donnell, NASCAR senior vice president of racing operations, will share insider insight into the competition administration and strategic planning of NASCAR during his 10:50 a.m. Q&A that will be moderated by Michael Printup, president of Watkins Glen International.
Fans that head to THE BOG Hospitality presented by Red Cat on Sunday, August 14, will be treated to a star-studded line-up of drivers. 2000 NASCAR Cup Series champion Bobby Labonte will be the first driver to visit with fans at 9:30 a.m. Road course ace Ron Fellows is next up 9:45 a.m. and immediately turns things over to Dave Blaney. Fan-favorite and idol of the famed Said Heads, Boris Said will take his turn at 10:15 a.m. and then make way for current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points leader Carl Edwards at 10:30 a.m.
All times on Saturday and Sunday are subject to change and the list of participating drivers can change without notice.
Aside from the multiple driver Q&A sessions, fans partying in THE BOG presented by Red Cat will receive complimentary continental breakfast and lunch buffet along with unlimited Coca-Cola products and bottled water. Those over the age of 21 receive six Budweiser coupons per day and may purchase their own Red Cat wine. The fun continues in the “Wreck Room,” where fans can play a variety of games including pool, foosball, darts and more. Fans in THE BOG are sure to get a first-rate race experience with trackside seating on the inside of Turn 11, preferred parking for the event, self-guided pit tours on Sunday just hours before the race, a free souvenir gift and a hospitality area with the direct track feed playing on closed circuit televisions and a new Sprint Vision Screen within view.
Fans have two choices for upgrading their weekend experience - Saturday and Sunday passes for $125, Sunday-only passes for $75. New in 2011, there are now several options for kids 15 years of age and under – Saturday and Sunday passes for $50, Sunday-only passes for $25. THE BOG is open 8:00 a.m. thru the end of the Canadian Tire 200 on Saturday, August 13 and 8:00 a.m. thru the end of the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen on Sunday, August 14.
