WATKINS GLEN, NY – Watkins Glen International is encouraging residents of the Twin Tiers to get into the spirit of giving this holiday season and is even providing a little incentive. In partnership with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, The Glen is offering a voucher for one free Thunder Road Tour to any person that makes a donation of $5 or more to the hunger-relief organization between Tuesday, December 13, and the close of business on Tuesday, December 20.
“The Food Bank of the Southern Tier plays such a huge role in hunger-relief for our area and we are thrilled to be partnering with them during the holidays,” said Michael Printup, President of Watkins Glen International. “Their ability to reach so many people throughout the region and the positive impact they have on their lives is truly remarkable. I invite all of our great fans to do their part to support this incredible organization and look forward to seeing them at The Glen for their Thunder Road Tours in 2012.”
