Marlee Scott to Perform National Anthems for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race at The Glen
Big Ride Entertainment artist and Nashville resident to perform on Red Cat Summer Stage
Marlee Scott to perform at Watkins Glen International throughout NASCAR Weekend at The Glen August 9-12.
WATKINS GLEN, NY – Marlee Scott will perform the American and Canadian National Anthems live on ESPN prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at The Glen race on Sunday, August 12. Scott, a Big Ride Entertainment artist and Toronto, ON native currently residing in Nashville, will also perform at Friday Night’s FREE Red Cat Summer Stage Concert on the infield of Watkins Glen International.
Scott has previously performed at the ACC Football Championship, the Breeders’ Cup and at a number of Major League Baseball games including the Chicago White Sox, Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds.
“Train Wreck” released to start the year is available on iTunes as of March 6 coinciding with the world premiere of the video on Country Music Television. Produced by David Kalmusky and featuring an appearance by Vince Gill, Marlee’s latest single was written by Marcus Hummon, Jedd Hughes and Sarah Buxton. It is the second single off her upcoming album due out this summer.
The first, “Beautiful Maybe” topped out at No. 12 on The Canadian Country Radio Charts and the video reached No. 12 on the CMT Chevrolet Top 20 Countdown. The music video for “Beautiful Maybe” can be viewed by clicking here.
Her 2010 single, “Here to Heaven” was No. 1 in England, Germany and Holland, reaching the Top 20 in Australia and Canada.
