Legends of The Glen Inductee on Pole
WATKINS GLEN, NY– Moments after his induction into the Legends of The Glen, Scott Pruett steered the No. 01 TELMEX/Ganassi BMW/Riley to the pole position for Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen begins at 11 a.m. and will be live on both SPEED and MRN radio.
In the final moments of the Daytona Prototype session, Pruett turned in a time of 1:41.309 (120.818 mph) to knock Antonio Garcia of the pole and take the TOTAL Pole Award for himself. It was Pruett’s first pole since also taking the starting spot at the 2010 Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.
