Advance Ticket Sale Pricing Ends with Opening Weekend
Take to the legendary road course for the Food Bank of the Southern Tier
Drive your own vehicle at Watkins Glen International and save on 2013 race event tickets with Opening Weekend, April 20-21.
WATKINS GLEN, NY – Opening Weekend marks the start of the season at Watkins Glen International and the end of advance ticket sale pricing for all 2013 race events. It’s the last chance for fans to save on ticket purchases, but their first opportunity to tackle the twists and turns of The Glen. For just $25 per car fans can drive their own vehicle around the 3.45-mile Grand Prix course while benefiting the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. and the first laps will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Fans are able to purchase and save on tickets for all 2013 Watkins Glen International events, including Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen and the Continental Tire 150 (June 28-30). Additional events for the weekend include the Porsche GT3 and F2000 series for an action-packed weekend of sports car racing. Tickets start at $30 with kids and teens 19 and under FREE. Reserved Camping is also available.
Camping and tickets for the remainder of The Glen’s events: Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey’s Fancy (July 12-14), Cheez-It™ 355 at The Glen (August 8-11), Glenora Wine Cellars U.S. Vintage Grand Prix (September 6-8) and the recently unveiled Glentoberfest (October 26) are available for purchase at The Glen during Opening Weekend as well.
