Fans R1st Viewing Area Opens April - October, for Spectator Viewing
Open to fans of all ages from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. most days, guests are welcome to enjoy the signs and sounds of The Glen from the Argetsinger Grandstand.
WATKINS GLEN, NY – Watkins Glen International continues to make fans their first priority by offering the chance to witness the excitement of on-track action free of charge from the Fans R1st Viewing Area. Open to fans of all ages from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. most days, guests are welcome to enjoy the sights and sounds of The Glen from the Argetsinger Grandstand.
Events of particular interest to those who wish to take advantage of the Fans R1st Viewing Area include:
May 16-18 North American Road Racing Association
May 23-25 ChumpCar World Series
July 19-20 SCCA Glen Region
Aug. 29-31 Ferrari Club of America
Sept. 26-28 NASA Northeast
Oct. 10-12 Vintage Racer Group
Nov. 1-2 ChumpCar World Series
In addition to the Fans R1st Viewing Area, fans can also experience The Glen through Drive The Glen tours (formerly Thunder Road Tours). Drive The Glen is an opportunity for fans to drive on the historic road course at Watkins Glen International. For only $25 per car, guests can take their own car around the track for three paced laps. Tours begin at noon and 5 p.m., April 25th through October 19th. Blackout dates apply so check online here to see those days.
