Alan Wendlandt Joins Watkins Glen International Team

WATKINS GLEN, NY (March 6, 2015) – Watkins Glen International announces the hiring of Alan Wendlandt as Maintenance Operations Manager, effective immediately. Wendlandt comes to WGI with an extensive history in the building, grounds, and construction trades.

Wendlandt will be responsible for leading the facility’s maintenance department and its cooperation with the operations team on projects throughout the year.

“It is our pleasure to welcome Alan to Watkins Glen International,” said WGI President Michael Printup. “His experience and knowledge will serve our maintenance department well, and we look forward to his contributions to the team.”

Previously, Wendlandt developed and oversaw operations at the 470-acre Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways, Inc. Horseback Riding Program center in Corning, N.Y. Most recently, he served as Deputy Highway Superintendent with the Town of Canton Highway Department.
