WATKINS GLEN, NY (April 2, 2015) – If you haven’t already, it’s time to block out your summer calendar for a weekend of wine, food, friends and fun at the annual Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey’s Fancy New York’s Artisan Cheese.

From July 10-12, Watkins Glen International will transform into a festival of more than 90 New York wineries, in addition to musicians, regional chefs, food purveyors, craft vendors and visitors from around the United States.

“As we look at the participating wineries and vendors, it’s clear that the Finger Lakes Wine Festival continues to grow, and is a favorite summer event for thousands of people,” said Michael Printup, Watkins Glen International President. “From Friday night’s Launch of the Lakes festivities, to the tastings and demonstrations throughout the weekend, there’s something for everyone.”

The festival was established at the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY and was taken over by Watkins Glen International in 1996. Since then, the event has grown into the East Coast’s largest event focusing on New York State wines, crafts, and cuisine and is a five-time recipient of the American Bus Association’s Top 100 event designation.

This year’s Finger Lakes Wine Festival kicks off on Friday, July 10 with the Yancey’s Fancy Launch of The Lakes. The opening night features an opportunity to win a variety of prizes in the toga contest in categories such as: Best Group, Best Theme, Most Traditional, and The Cheesiest. Two individuals will also be crowned as the 2015 King and Queen as the Finger Lakes’ largest toga party. Tickets start at $20 for this unique event.

The complete list of participating wineries and vendors is available at FLWineFest.com.
