WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (August 9, 2015) – On the heels of being voted USA Today’s “Best NASCAR Track” in a recent poll, Watkins Glen International announced that reserved grandstand tickets for Sunday’s running of the Cheez-It™ 355 have sold out, with general admission tickets still available.

“A reserved grandstand sell-out shows just how dedicated and passionate Watkins Glen International fans are,” said WGI President Michael Printup. “We’re looking forward to a great race on Sunday to cap off an already tremendous weekend.”

It was announced earlier this week that WGI had created additional campsites in the new Bronson Hill area. A large crowd of campers entered the grounds as early as Wednesday morning, with additional sites being steadily occupied during the course of the race weekend.

On Saturday, defending Cheez-It™ 355 winner A.J. Allmendinger won the pole with a fast lap of 127.839. Sunday’s race is set to air on NBC Sports Network beginning at 1:30 p.m. EST, as well as on affiliates of the Motor Racing Network (MRN).

Watkins Glen International is the premier road racing facility in North America, voted “Best NASCAR Track” by readers of USA Today.
