Doug Allen to Perform Anthems during Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen
The principle singer for the Buffalo Sabres, Doug Allen, will perform the Canadian and American anthems during the pre-race of Saturday’s Continental Tire 150 and Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. Also known as “Anthem Guy,” Allen has been singing anthems for the Buffalo Sabres for over 20 years, and will make his first appearance at Watkins Glen International.

Tyler Hoke Joins WGI Marketing Crew
Watkins Glen International is proud to welcome Tyler Hoke back to the WGI team as Marketing Coordinator, effective immediately. Hoke, a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, is familiar with the WGI team after working as a ticket intern in 2013. In his new position at WGI, Hoke will play a key role in the promotion of Watkins Glen International through various mediums including social media, advertising and grass roots efforts.

Taylor Brothers Make Pit Stop in ‘The Grove’
Watkins Glen International is excited to announce Ricky and Jordan Taylor of Wayne Taylor Racing will be participating in a few events happening in The Grove during Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, June 26-29. Jordan Taylor announced last week following his May 31st victory that he will be cutting off the signature mullet he has been cultivating since January of 2013 and is looking to raise $10,000 for charity in support of his new look. Both brothers are also expected to participate in a fan question and answer session on Saturday.
