Joao Barbosa captured his second-consecutive Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen victory with co-driver Christian Fittipaldi, and in doing so, also scored his second-consecutive victory for the No. 5 Action Express GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series team.
With the win, Action Express takes the North American Endurance Championship (NAEC) presented by VISITFLORIDA.com lead.
Barbosa and Fittipaldi also etched their names in Watkins Glen International's history books as the final duo to capture a GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series victory. In 2014, American Le Mans Series (ALMS) and GRAND-AM will merge, providing fans one cohesive sports car series in North America.
It was a race of second-consecutive victors as Robin Liddell drove the No. 57 Stevenson Motorsports Camaro GT.R to Gatorade Victory Lane for his second-straight Six Hours win.
