Kyle Busch took advantage of a unique opportunity in July 2013, when he torched the streets of Downtown Rochester to promote NASCAR's return to Watkins Glen International for the Cheez-It 355 at The Glen and Zippo 200.
"It is not everyday you get to drive a stock car on public streets," Busch said. "The only time we ever get to do it is during champions' week and you are with other drivers. It was cool to do it on my own. I had a lot of fun out there and I hope the fans did too."
The fans more certainly had a lot of fun, cheering him on from Fitzhugh Avenue to South Avenue along East Broadc Street as he did donuts and left some rubber behind in Rochester.
