    The 2009 "Read for Speed" Program Takes the Checkered Flag

    The students of Watkins Glen Elementary School celebrated the conclusion of the Read for Speed program with a trip to Watkins Glen International on Thursday, June 4. About 100 students visited the track as a reward for being named one of the “fastest” classes during the three month program.

    Buffalo Flash Players at Act as Race Dignitaries at Watkins Glen International

    Ten players of the Buffalo Flash will be just as busy at WGI for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen on Saturday, June 6, as they are on the soccer field. Members of the Buffalo soccer team will serve as grand marshals for the six-hour race.
