Onsite Recycling
In partnership with Swarthout Recycling, The Glen is proud to offer our fans the best way to enjoy racing in an environmentally responsible way. Beyond simply recycling, we will reward you with official WGI gear, sponsor prizes and a chance to win a FREE VIP weekend to your choice of the 2010 NASCAR or IndyCar weekend. Please see below on how you can help keep The Glen beautiful and thank you for participating.
“Curbside” Recycling
Specific recycling bags and a stamp card will be handed out to all campers and will be available at the redemption locations within the campgrounds. Campers, please place recyclables in the bags and leave them curbside each evening for pick-up. Pre-sorted (i.e. all aluminum bagged together) recycling is best but not required. The blue barrels located throughout the facility are trash receptacles only – please don’t place recyclables in the blue barrels!
Sorted Recycling for prizes/tickets
Within each major campground are sorted recycling redemption booths. Please hand in your sorted bags for prizes and remember to get your redemption card stamped. After you have collected 6 stamps, leave your card behind to be entered into a drawing for a FREE VIP weekend at your choice of the 2010 NASCAR or IndyCar weekends. Enter as many times as you like. Multiple redemption cards may be redeemed.

All 2009 fleet vehicles at Watkins Glen International including the Official Camry Pace Car come from Toyota with Hybrid Synergy Drive technology.
