1. What are the Ticket Office hours?
9 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday. On event weekends, we are generally open by 7am and stay open as long as needed.
  2. How can I purchase tickets?
    - Call the WGI Ticket Office at 866-461-RACE or you can purchase tickets online.
    - Stop by the WGI Ticket Office on Old Bronson Hill Road just off of County Route 16 or The Shop at 2 North Franklin Street in downtown Watkins Glen.
    - We also sell tickets at the gates during event weekends.
  3. What time do the gates open during events?
    Vary by event.
  4. When will tickets be available for purchase by the general public?
Tickets for the entire 2014 schedule are on sale December 16, 2013.
  5. Does the track charge for parking?
Free daytime parking is available for all of our guests. During SCCA, Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey's Fancy and Glenora Wine Cellars U.S. Vintage Grand Prix presented by Welliver - all daytime parking is located on the infield. For all other events, free parking is available along Kuhl-Winner Way and also across from Gate 7 and on Meads Hill Road across from Gate 1.
  6. What happens if the event rains out?
If an event is postponed and/or rescheduled for any reason, the determination of the new date and time for the event would be made by the sanctioning body (i.e., NASCAR, IMSA, SCCA, SVRA). The sanctioning body makes every effort to conduct an event on the day it is scheduled and if a postponement is necessary, they will announce the new date and time. Tickets for the event will be honored on the date the race is held. All ticket sales are final; we regret no refunds will be allowed unless you previously purchased ticket insurance.
  7. Do you have handicap seating?
Golf carts are available throughout the facility to transport guests with disabilities. Wheelchair accessible reserved seats are available in the FrontStretch Grandstand located on the start/finish line, and in the Pit Terrace Grandstand. There are also accessible areas reserved for general admission ticket holders, as well as accessible parking and restrooms.
  8. Where should I park if I need a HC spot?
Lot 4 would probably be preferred because it has paved sites. If this lot is full, all of the general day parking lots have HC parking in the first 2 rows. All that is required is a state-issued HC placard or license plate.

For any questions not answered above, please feel free to email our general inbox at racing@theglen.com

The following security policies apply only during the NASCAR Sprint Cup at The Glen weekend. Guests are subject to search during all events.
  1. What is the difference between an admission gate and a grandstand gate?
Admission gates are all of the main gates you pass through when you enter the facility. Grandstand gates are all of the smaller gates you pass through if you have a grandstand seat.
  2. Can I leave my cooler outside the grandstand gates?
Unfortunately, items not allowed in the grandstands will not be allowed to accumulate along the grandstand fence lines.
  3. I'm camping in the infield. Does this mean I can't bring my large cooler to my campsite?
The new policies are only for the grandstand gates, not admission gates. You can take your cooler, any size, to your campsite, but won't be able to bring it into the grandstand unless it conforms to current specifications (9"x10"x13").
  4. WHAT YOU CAN BRING INTO THE GRANDSTAND GATES:
    • One soft-sided bag/cooler, up to 9” x 10” x 13” inches WHEN MEASURED WITH ITS CONTENTS.  Examples include:
      • A soft-sided insulated cooler, a scanner bag, a fanny pack, a purse, a diaper bag or binocular bag, etc.
      • Coolers may contain a removable single-wall plastic liner.
      • This one bag may be carried in any manner, i.e. by handle, with shoulder straps, on a belt, etc.
    • One plastic/canvas bag, lightweight backpack or day pack, approximately 17” in length to carry binoculars, scanners, headsets, cameras, samples received, or souvenir purchases.
    • Seat cushions carried separately are also allowed.
      • Please consider the comfort of guests seated behind you when choosing a seat cushion that includes a back.
    • Binoculars, scanners, headsets and cameras not in a bag, but worn separately over the neck or on the belt.
    • Flags are acceptable, provided they are not attached to poles and that they do not obstruct other fans viewing of racing activities. No flag poles of any type will be allowed. Small nationality flags attached to a pencil sized diameter wooden stick will be allowed.
    • All items brought through grandstand gates will be inspected.
  5. What about my camera, scanner and binoculars? Can I bring them into the grandstands in the bags they are stored in?
These items should either be carried around your neck or in a clear plastic bag. Again, please remember that all items are subject to search when you enter the grandstand areas. Your admission will be speedier with fewer bags to be searched.
  6. Have the rules about beer or food in the grandstands changed?
The policies regarding food and beverage in the grandstands have not changed. You may still bring beverages and food with you, but understand that all bags are subject to search when you enter the grandstand areas.
