Separate from the RACE Foundation donation program, Watkins Glen International and RACE will invest back into the community with grants of varying sizes, designed to further the efforts of local youth oriented non-profit foundations in Chemung, Yates, Schuyler and Steuben counties.
Betty Jane France Award
The late Betty Jane France championed countless efforts to better the lives and health of children. Three local non-profit organizations dedicated to the overall health and wellness of area youth will be awarded $3,000 in her name.
Victory Lane Visionary Award
The mark of a great organization is its vision for the future. Three local non-profit organizations focused on bolstering their respective youth-focused programming will be honored with donations of $1,500 each.
Esses Award of Excellence
Three local non-profit organizations will be honored with donations of $500 each to expose children to learning experiences they otherwise would not expect to be exposed to due to insufficient financial resources.
For more information on these grants, eligibility rules, and more, please see the documents below.
The mission of RACE (Racing And Community Enrichment) is to meet the needs of local underserved populations with a focus on youth oriented support. The foundation will use the backing of a close-knit community to foster meaningful fundraising efforts, as well as lean on support from the international racing family.
