Watkins Glen International is proud to announce another full lineup of sportscar racing action for Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge return in 2015 and are joined by Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Porsche GT3 Cup USA and Cooper Tires Prototype Lites for an action-packed Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen (June 25-28).

    2007 Season Features NASCAR, Indy Cars, and Sports Cars

    Watkins Glen International is set to host eight event weekends throughout 2007, highlighted by the Watkins Glen Grand Prix move to July 8. The highly anticipated NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series weekend will run on its traditional weekend, August 9-12, and will include the NASCAR Busch Series Zippo 200 and Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series. The Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen will return as a stand-alone event, June 8-10.

    The Glen Receives New IndyCar Series Date

    Watkins Glen International President Craig Rust announced today that the track's annual IndyCar Series race will move to Sunday, July 8 in 2007. Rust feels good about maintaining this date on the calendar as an annual event weekend in the future.

    BMW to be Featured Marque in 2007

    Watkins Glen International announced today that BMW will be the featured marque of the 2007 Zippo U.S. Vintage Grand Prix. The famed German automaker will also be the featured marque for the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival presented by Chemung Canal Trust Co. in downtown Watkins Glen.
