Ten acts will grace various stages and locations for the Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey's Fancy next weekend.

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (July 6, 2017) – In addition to multiple tents full of New York State Wines, cuisine, and vendors set to take over Watkins Glen International during next weekend’s Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey’s Fancy New York’s Artisan Cheese, live entertainment will take center stage from Friday night through Sunday afternoon.

Live music, pace car rides, outdoor demonstrations, wine seminars presented by Women for WineSense, and cooking demos presented by New York Wine & Culinary Center will also be featured throughout the weekend, with festivities kicking off during the Yancey’s Fancy Launch of the Lakes, set for Friday, July 14th. Admission to Friday night’s event is separate from the Finger Lakes Wine Festival.

“Watkins Glen International is proud to once again present a full slate of entertainment, demonstrations, and live music for this year’s Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey’s Fancy New York’s Artisan Cheese,” said WGI President Michael Printup. “The atmosphere of this event is very important to us. There is going to be something for everyone this year – from live music, to circus acts, to a world-famous ice carving show. We can’t wait to open the gates on Friday night.”

The Stage in the Sparkling Courtyard, adjacent to Tent C, will play host to several performances and demonstrations, including: Ice Carving from The Ice Farm, Justin Wood Circus, Aloha Hula Fire Knife Dancer, Aloha Hula Traditional Polynesian Dance Show, and the Drumadics, a beat and brass band from New York City. Attendees looking for a more educational experience will find wine seminars (both enhanced and free versions), and cooking demonstrations taking place in the Media Center with limited, first-come, first-serve availability.

A trademark of the annual event is the roster of live music performances, and it is once again chock full of talent, including: Keith James Band, Rebecca McDonald, Qwister, The Family Ties Band, Virgil Cain, DJ Samborn, Scott Adams, Aunt Millie’s Biscuits, Savannah Harmon Band, and The Jeff Fetterman Band.
