The GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series return to Watkins Glen International for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen weekend June 28-30, 2013. Once again, the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen will be a part of GRAND-AM’s North American Endurance Championship.

Save The Date – NASCAR Returns to The Glen August 8-11 in 2013
The NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series return to Watkins Glen International, August 8-11 in 2013. The Glen was the venue of arguably one of the best finishes during the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season as Marcos Ambrose captured his second-consecutive WGI win after a last lap battle to the checkered flag.

The American Bus Association (ABA) announced today that the Finger Lakes Wine Festival, July 12-14, 2013, has been designated as one of the Top 100 Events in North America for 2013 by an experienced expert tourism industry selection committee. Inclusion in the Top 100 list, published as a supplement to the September/October issue of Destinations magazine, indicates that the Finger Lakes Wine Festival offers excellent entertainment value to both tour groups and individual travelers from around the world, according to ABA.

Watkins Glen International To Host Blood Drive on Sept. 11
Watkins Glen International fans who are interested are encouraged to give blood while The Glen hosts the American Red Cross on Tuesday, Sept. 11 for “Road to the Rescue.” The Blood Drive will take place in The Glen’s Media Center from Noon to 6:30 p.m.
