Presenting sponsor of Watkins Glen International’s Finger Lakes Beer Festival, the Finger Lakes Beer Trail is proud to boast that over half of the participating breweries are members of the growing beer trail. On Saturday, October 25, from noon to 5 p.m., festival guests will get the opportunity to taste amazing brews and enjoy hearty food.

Watkins Glen International is proud to announce the promotion of Montana McDonald to Manager of Business Partnerships effective immediately. McDonald, a native of Romulus, NY, has been a part of the seasonal and full-time staff since 2011. In her new position, McDonald is responsible for fulfilling corporate sponsorship services, managing the show car tour, as well as controlling social media platforms for various events.

The American Bus Association (ABA) announced that Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey’s Fancy New York’s Artisan Cheese, to be held July 10-12, has been designated as one of the Top 100 Events in North America for 2015 by an experienced expert tourism industry selection committee. Inclusion in the Top 100 list, published as a supplement to the September/October issue of Destinations magazine, indicates that the Finger Lakes Wine Festival offers excellent entertainment value to both tour groups and individual travelers from around the world, according to ABA.

The Watkins Glen International renewal season is about to begin. WGI account holders will receive their renewal forms at the end of October. This exclusive group of fans has the opportunity to not only save up to $35, per ticket, but also relocate their campsite and/or upgrade their season prior to tickets going on sale to the general public.

Beer Festival Focuses on NY Brews
Beers from the Empire State are well represented at the Finger Lakes Beer Festival presented by Finger Lakes Beer Trail on October 25 at Watkins Glen International. The variety of beer has increased in the event’s second year, giving fans who attend the event the opportunity to enjoy some of the finest regional and seasonal brews.
