Ricky Taylor held off Scott Pruett by 3.839 seconds Saturday to win the 30th Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, ending one winning streak while continuing another. Taylor was joined by Max Angelelli in the No. 10 SunTrust Chevrolet/Dallara, winning his second consecutive Rolex Series race from the pole.

GRAND-AM Drivers Share Racing Secrets with Read for Speed Students
Second and fourth graders from Watkins Glen Elementary School took to the turns of Watkins Glen International along with some new friends to celebrate the conclusion of the Read for Speed program on Thursday, June 2. Over 125 students from the second and fourth grades visited the historic road course as a conclusion of the year-long program. The trip was headlined by the students receiving racing pointers from GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series stars Scott Pruett, David Donohue, Memo Gidley, and GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge driver Mike Marsal as they all took two laps around the track in school buses.

Frisselle and Richard Post Fastest Time in GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series Practice
Brian Frisselle and Henri Richard, in the #77 Office Depot Doran Racing Ford Dallara (1:06.887; 131.864 mph), posted the fastest speed during the two practice sessions for the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series Canadian Tire 200 at The Glen. Defending race winners Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas, driving the #01 TELMEX BMW Riley, were fifth fastest at 1:07.073 (131.499 mph). Fastest among the GT racers were Robin Liddell and Jan Magnussen, driving the #57 Stevenson Auto Group Camaro GTR (1:13.218; 120.462 mph).

Legends of The Glen Inductee on Pole
Moments after his induction into the Legends of The Glen, Scott Pruett steered the No. 01 TELMEX/Ganassi BMW/Riley to the pole position for Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen. Pruett took his first DP pole position in two years at The Glen and Jordan Taylor claimed the GT pole for the second-consecutive year in Saturday’s qualifying at Watkins Glen International.
