Americans across the country are preparing to honor the men and women of the Armed and Emergency Services as part of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 this weekend and Watkins Glen International is no different. WGI is proud to offer free weekend admission to all current servicemen and women of the United States Armed Forces, police officers, firefighters and emergency medical technicians for the Glenora Wine Cellars U.S. Vintage Grand Prix presented by Welliver, September 9-11. The Glen will also feature a parade lap of emergency services vehicles and observe a moment of silence in remembrance of those lost in the 2001 terrorist attacks during the pre-race ceremonies for the New York Governor’s Cup on Sunday, September 11.
