Watkins Glen International & New York State Motorsports Recognized by Governor Andrew Cuomo and the State Legislature
Watkins Glen International traveled to the State capital to open a New York State Motorsports Exhibit in the Empire State Plaza, where Governor Cuomo proclaimed March 17-23 “Motorsports Week in the State of New York.” As part of the event, Watkins Glen International attended legislative sessions to witness the adoption of the resolution recognizing motorsports in New York. The New York State Senate and Assembly each recognized the 65th Anniversary of Watkins Glen International and spoke about the importance of the motorsports industry for tourism and economic development upstate.
