• Watkins Glen International is located at 2790 County Rt 16, Watkins Glen NY, 14891
• When arriving, use Gate 2 directly off of County Rt 16 to enter the facility
• Due to unforeseen circumstances and track activity, we suggest you plan ahead by calling our security staff to confirm Drive the Glen is scheduled.
• For a 12 P.M. session, please call by 11 AM. For a 5 PM session, please call by 4 P.M.
• Gate 2 Security is available by phone between the hours of 8 A.M. - 5 P.M at 607-535-3367
  • Please call 1-866-461-RACE outside of those hours.
• Security will provide directions to the staging area on Canandaigua Road.
  • If you are the first car to arrive, please park next to the sign indicating the start of staging. The next arriving cars are to follow.

*Driver must have a valid driver's license, and your vehicle must be currently registered and insured. For your safety, this experience will consist of three consecutive laps without stopping at the start/finish line. All drivers and passengers must stay inside the vehicle at all times. Must be 18 years or older to drive.

All rules must be followed to ensure everyone's safety:

1. Seatbelts must be worn at all times
2. Please keep your hands and mobile devices inside the vehicle
3. Maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you
4. Maintain the speed as set by the pace car
5. DO NOT pass another vehicle, especially not the pace car
6. All participants are required to remain in their personal vehicles.
7. The vehicle MUST be street-legal. Motorcycles, rental cars, ATVs, golf carts, and/or large-capacity vehicles (15-passenger vans & buses) will not be permitted to drive on the track.
8. Drivers must be 18 years or older and a valid driver’s license & insurance are required upon arrival.
9. Minors in vehicles must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
10. All occupants must remain inside the vehicle at all times, with seatbelts on. Passengers are not permitted in truck beds.

1. What is Drive the Glen?
   • Drive the Glen is an experience that allows visitors to drive their personal vehicles around the twists and turns of the historical 3.45-mile Watkins Glen International Raceway.
2. What is included in the experience?
   • Drive the Glen takes visitors for three laps of the raceway behind one of our official pace vehicles, a stop for photo opportunities at the start/finish line and concludes with a chance to visit “The Pyramid Souvenirs” retail shop to purchase official Watkins Glen International apparel and souvenirs.
3. Do I need a reservation for the session that I would like to attend?
   • No, everyone is welcome at Drive the Glen, and we have welcomed the public with 1 car or 40 cars.
4. When does Drive the Glen start?
   • Drive the Glen is offered each day from Mid-April until the end of October at 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM each day.
   • Drive the Glen is subject to certain black-out dates and times – please consult the unavailable dates and times.
5. What time should I arrive?
   • We encourage visitors to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to each session to assure time to purchase tickets, sign waivers, and relax before the excitement begins.
6. Do I need a helmet or safety equipment?
   • Helmets are not required but everyone in the vehicle must have their own safety belt and be buckled in during the experience.
7. How fast will I go while driving on the track?
   • This is a “paced” tour of the raceway and is meant to give visitors the opportunity to experience the raceway at safe speeds.
   • There is NO passing allowed.
8. Can my child drive if they have a permit?
   • No, Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
9. How much does it cost?
   • Drive the Glen can be experienced for $35 per vehicle. This includes everyone present in the vehicle, provided they can be safely buckled in.
