OPENING DAY PRESENTED BY MOTUL AT THE GLEN

• Watkins Glen International is located at 2790 County Rt 16, Watkins Glen NY, 14891
• When arriving, use Gate 2 directly off of County Rt 16 to enter the facility
• Staff will assist you in signing a waiver to participate in track laps. Each guest in the car will need to fill out and sign the waiver to participate.
• Security will provide directions to the staging area in the Media Center parking lot

• Seatbelts must be worn at all times
• Please keep your hands and mobile devices inside the vehicle
• Maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you
• Maintain the speed as set by the pace car
• DO NOT pass another vehicle, especially not the pace car
• All participants are required to remain in their personal vehicles
• Vehicle MUST be street legal. Motorcycles, rental cars, ATVs, golf carts, and/or large-capacity vehicles (15-passenger vans & buses) will not be permitted to drive the track
• Drivers must be 18 years or older and a valid driver’s license & insurance are required upon arrival
• Parent/legal guardian must accompany minors in the vehicle
• All occupants must remain inside the vehicle at all times, with seatbelts on.
• Passengers are not permitted in truck beds

• What is Opening Day?
  • Opening Day is the first day Watkins Glen International opens the track back up to fans after the winter and allows fans to drive the track (for a cost). All ticket proceeds go to the R.A.C.E. foundation and will be donated to a charity of the track’s choosing.
• What day and time is Opening Day?
  • Opening Weekend is Saturday, April 11^th. Fans can come from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM?
• Do I need a reservation to drive the track?
  • If you are not part of a group of cars, you do not need a reservation.
  • If you are involved in a car club and would like to drive the track together, you will need to reserve your time slot. Please email Keagan Rought ([email protected]) to reserve yours today.
• What is included in Opening Day?
  • With the purchase of an Opening Day ticket (1 per car), you can drive 3 laps around the course. If you’d like to drive more laps, additional tickets will need to be purchased.
• Do I need a helmet or safety equipment?
  • Helmets are not required. Everyone in the vehicle must have their seat belt buckled during the experience.
• How fast will I go driving the track?
  • The pace is set by the pace car and is meant to give visitors the opportunity to experience the raceway at a safe speed.
• Can my child drive if they have a permit?
  • No, drivers must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• How much does it cost?
  • Advance pricing is available until April 10^th at 5:00 PM for $34 (includes ticket fees) per car
  • After April 10^th at 5:00 PM, tickets are available for $35 (includes ticket fees)
  • 1 ticket per car permits three laps around the raceway and you may purchase additional tickets to receive take additional laps.
