The Glen A-Z

ADA Accessibility - Parking
During our IMSA and NASCAR race weekends, guests with state-issued handicap hangtags and license plates may park in the first row of the free daytime parking lots located just adjacent to the track. Paved handicap accessible parking is available in Lot 4 on a first-come, first-served basis. For all other weekends, disability parking is available through the facility on a first-come, first-served basis.

ADA Accessibility - Tickets
During our NASCAR race weekend, all wheelchair seating is a space and companion seating is bench-style. A maximum of three companion seats can be purchased with the wheelchair-seated customer. To purchase a reserved seat with up to three companions, please select "Reserved Seating" when buying tickets online, or call 1-866-461-RACE (7223).

During all events excluding NASCAR, grandstands are open to general admission ticket holders. All grandstands have wheelchair seating available and may be accessed throughout the entire event.

Accessible seating areas are solely for disabled persons and their companions. By purchasing an accessible seating ticket through Watkins Glen International, you acknowledge that the accessible seating is intended for use by an individual with a mobility or other disability who requires the features of accessible seating due to a disability, and that individual's companions. Watkins Glen International reserves the right to investigate potential misuse of accessible seating and take all appropriate action, including, but not limited to, cancellation of your ticket order, against individuals who fraudulently obtain tickets for accessible seating. While tickets for accessible seating legitimately purchased for the use of an individual with a disability may be transferred to another individual under the same terms and conditions applicable to other tickets, in the event such ticket is transferred to a non-disabled individual, Watkins Glen International reserves the right to transfer that individual to other seating.

ADA Accessibility - Transportation
During IMSA and NASCAR race weekends, disability transportation carts (including wheelchair accessible carts) will be available to transport guests with disabilities and one companion to the grandstands, the infield, or other destination of choice. To request a disability transport cart, please wait until the cart is needed and then call 607-535-3427 or text 69050. Begin the body of the text with WGIFAN, a space, and your request with a location. Please note that disability carts will likely take longer to obtain following the end of the race due to high demand and heavy vehicular and foot traffic throughout the facility.

Watkins Glen International's address is 2790 County Route 16, Watkins Glen, New York 14891.

A: The Weather Protection Program applies to regular grandstand tickets for all NASCAR races (NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series) at any participating venue that is postponed and rescheduled to a different date due to inclement weather. Fan(s) may exchange regular grandstand tickets that were not used on the rescheduled date for a future NASCAR race at a participating property. Unused regular grandstand tickets may be exchanged for a grandstand ticket of equal or lesser value on a ticket-by-ticket basis based on the event and seating location availability at the time of redemption. Complete the request form below or contact the Watkins Glen International ticket office at 866-461-7223 to inquire about eligibility and exchanging your ticket.

Q: What tracks are part of the Weather Protection Program?

A: Darlington Raceway, Daytona International Speedway*, Homestead-Miami Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, Michigan International Speedway, NASCAR Chicago Street Race, Phoenix Raceway*, Richmond Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway, and Watkins Glen International

*Fans may exchange tickets for any NASCAR event with the exception of the Daytona 500 and NASCAR Cup Series Championship event at Phoenix Raceway. Only tickets for the Daytona 500 or NASCAR Cup Series Championship event may exchange for the same event the following year. I.e. If the Daytona 500 is postponed, Daytona 500 ticketholders may exchange their tickets for any participating event or the following year’s Daytona 500.

Q: How much does the Weather Protection Program cost?

A: Nothing. The protection is free for all customers with a paid regular NASCAR grandstand ticket at any of the 12 venues listed above.

Q: How do I exchange my ticket(s) for a future race event if my race is postponed?

A: Upon completion of the rescheduled event, the accountholder has 60 days to contact the ticket office at the venue where the race event was postponed by completing the website request form below. Once the form is submitted, a ticket agent will contact you to complete the exchange process for a regular grandstand ticket for a future NASCAR event at any of the participating venues. A ticket agent will contact you as soon as possible with consideration for the new event date you have requested.

Q: For what future events can I exchange an unused ticket?

A: Eligible regular grandstand tickets may be exchanged for any future NASCAR race at a participating venue within one (1) year of the original event date or for the same race the following year, excluding the Daytona 500 and NASCAR Cup Series Championship event at Phoenix Raceway. Only current Daytona 500 tickets can be redeemed for the next year’s Daytona 500 as well as NASCAR Cup Series Championship for the same event the next year. Eligible tickets must be redeemed within 60 days of completion of the postponed event. If eligible regular grandstand tickets are not redeemed during the allotted timeframe set forth, the exchange opportunity will expire.

Q: What tickets are eligible under this policy?

A: Only regular grandstand tickets purchased directly from a participating venue are eligible for an exchange under this policy. Complimentary regular grandstand tickets are not eligible for exchange under this policy. Restrictions also apply to corporate tickets and other special purchase situations. Q: What if I used some of my tickets for the rescheduled event but not all of them?

A: Any eligible unused regular grandstand ticket(s) for the rescheduled event date may be redeemed. Complete the request form below or contact the track ticket office at 866-461-7223 to inquire about the eligibility of your grandstand ticket(s).

Q: What if the event is delayed?

A: The Weather Protection Program only applies if a race event is postponed and moved to a date other than the originally scheduled date. Delayed races regardless of the length of delay are not eligible, including if the event completes after 11:59 pm.

Q: What if the event is shortened due to weather?

A: The Weather Protection Program will not apply to races that were shortened due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances where the event is counted as official by the appropriate sanctioning body.

What about tickets purchased through SeatGeek, Stubhub, Vivid or other secondary markets?

Tickets purchased through any channel other than the main track ticket office are not covered under the Weather Protection Program. Only regular grandstand tickets for a postponed NASCAR event purchased directly from the track are eligible for an exchange under this policy.
