FAN GUIDE

To ensure an enjoyable weekend for all fans, the following items are prohibited:

• Weapons of any description
• Illegal drugs
• Live or excessively loud music
• Fireworks
• ATVs, dirt bikes, mopeds, motorcycles, skateboard, hoverboards, roller skates and E-bikes
• Water balloon launchers (or any other form of launching device)
• “Super soakers”
• Unregistered golf carts
• Circus tents or party tents over the size of 15 feet x 15 feet
• Awnings over 20 feet x 10 feet
• Box, rental or lift trucks, cargo vehicles or cargo trailers
• Drones/unmanned aerial vehicles
• Foam or hard-sided coolers regardless of size
• Any firearm
• Knives not longer than 3 inches in length when closed or longer than 6 inches in length when open
• Utility tools (multi-purpose tool) with a knife blade longer than 3 inches
• Displays of the confederate flag
• Fireworks
• Glass or ceramic containers of any kind
• Dry ice
• Umbrellas
• Laser pointers
• Noise makers and air horns
• Aerosol cans (with the exception of sunscreen, sun block, hand sanitizer, and bug spray)
• Selfie sticks
• Tripods and monopods that are either solid or collapsible
• Illegal substances of any kind
• Seat cushions with metal components
• Collapsible chairs
• Wagons
• Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), also known as drones
• Frisbees, balloons, beach balls, or any other projectile
• Skateboards, hoverboards, roller skates, and bicycles
• Obscene or indecent clothing

Pets are permitted only in the camping areas and must be kept on a leash no longer than six (6) feet at all times. All pet waste must be cleaned up promptly by the pet owner.

SERVICE DOGS
Watkins Glen International recognizes the importance of service dogs in assisting guests with visual and other impairments. Service dogs are welcome on the property but must remain leashed or harnessed at all times. Guests must bring their own waste disposal bags and clean up after their service dogs. Guests with service dogs may request wheelchair seating to better accommodate their companion’s comfort and safety.

• Show respect to all guests, track employees and their property
• While at The Glen, refrain from the following behaviors:
• Sitting in a reserved seat without the appropriate ticket
• Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal
• Possession inside the stadium of items not allowed for gate entry
• Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
• Foul, abusive, or obscene language, gestures, acts, signs, or clothing
• Throwing of any objects onto the racing surface
• Failing to follow the instructions of Watkins Glen International personnel
• Verbal or physical harassment of other guests
• Fighting, taunting, or threatening remarks or gestures
• Displaying signage or flags that impede sightlines, broadcast or on-track competition or contains inappropriate, prejudicial, or offensive language, or imagery
• Comply with all local, state, and federal law while on the track property
• All persons entering the track are subject to reasonable search to protect the safety of the public and to ensure compliance with this Code of Conduct
• Items intended for sale or trade may not be brought onto track property, including the parking lots, without a written agreement with the track.
• The unauthorized resale of tickets in, on or around the track property is not permitted under any circumstances. Persons caught selling tickets in violation may have their tickets and their right to future tickets at the track revoked. To avoid using counterfeit or stolen tickets, please purchase tickets through authorized ticket outlets only.

Daytime parking is available for all guests in daytime lots located outside of the admission gates. No overnight parking is allowed in these lots, and vehicles left in the fields after 8:00 PM are subject to tow at the owner’s expense.

• Infield parking is issued by Watkins Glen International staff and only available through purchase or provided event support and track staff.
• Overnight infield parking is prohibited and considered camping. Violators are subject to tow at the owner’s expense.

The routes offered below should serve as a general guideline only and are not necessarily the best routes from your area. Please consult a more detailed map for specific directions from your area.

Village of Watkins Glen to WGI
Watkins Glen International is located approximately three miles south outside of the Village of Watkins Glen. From Franklin Street (Route 14) in the Village, take Route 414 South (towards Corning) to the traffic light (3/4 mile) at the top of the hill and turn right (County Road 16). Go approximately 2.25 miles to the track (on the left).

• All people entering the facility need a valid ticket or credential for admission.
• Search of vehicles, including car trunks, campers, and RVs, is a condition of entry to the facility. Please be prepared to accommodate the attendant upon arrival.
• Each site is limited to the following combinations, which must fit within the campsite boundaries:
  • One (1) RV and one (1) Tent
  • One (1) livable unit and one (1) tent
  • Two (2) tents
• Gate staff will apply the camping pass on your RV, livable unit or vehicle at check-in.
• This must be kept clearly visible while parked on the property.
• Passes may not be altered or tampered with.
• The camping unit, equipment, and tow vehicle must all fit within the marked space.
• Box trucks, livestock trailers, and utility trailers are considered non-livable units and must be parked in designated overnight camping areas.
• School buses are allowed only if converted to an RV, in a professional manner with permanently installed cooking and sanitary facilities.
• No cargo vehicles will be admitted, regardless of height.
  • This includes, but is not limited to: box trucks, lift trucks, or horse trailers.

• Camping stickers are non-transferable. Anyone caught transferring stickers will be expelled without refund.
• Vehicle stickers that have been removed for any reason will not be honored for re-admission. Watkins Glen International is not responsible for lost or stolen stickers.
• Camper permits are per vehicle, not per site. Any vehicle staying on Watkins Glen International property overnight in the camping area is considered a camper and must have a permit.

• Quiet hours apply for all camping areas from 11:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
• Fire lanes must be kept clear.
• Infield vehicular access is limited to those with an infield reserved site only. Event staff will enforce this policy.
• All campers must park with the nose or tail of the RV or trailer facing the track to block the least amount of viewing area.
• No campers or safety equipment may be within 15 feet of the spectator fence.
• No camping is permitted on the viewing berm or any other area not identified as a camping area.
• All campers are expected to place trash in receptacles or garbage bags.
• Furniture, BBQ grills, other large items, or trash may not be left on campsites.

• Generators are not permitted during the hours of 11:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., unless needed for medical purposes.
  • A permit sticker is required for medical generator usage during these hours and can be obtained from Watkins Glen International Security.
• All generators must be properly ventilated, and the exhaust positioned so as not to interfere or cause harm to neighboring campers.

• Only non-metallic flagpoles are permitted (ie. fiberglass, PVC, vinyl). Steel, aluminum, or any other metal flagpoles are NOT permitted.
• The top of a flagpole may not exceed maximum height of 15 feet from ground surface.
• Flagpoles or other similar objects are NOT permitted within 20 feet of an overhead electrical line.
